Each and every table is hand-crafted in our shop in Nashville, TN by a small team of dedicated craftsmen who want to help you create a beautiful space where you will love to gather.

Our Process
“Step 1: Design the Perfect Table for Your Space
Pick out your size, stain, and style. Measure your space or tell us how many you want to seat and we can figure out the best size for your home. Like the legs on one of our tables and the top of another? No problem - you can mix and match all you want.”
“Step 2: Building
We start by sanding your raw Southern Pine until it’s smooth and soft. Next, we cut your lumber to the correct size. We assemble your furniture carefully, holding it together with a combination of strong screws and wood glue. After assembly we sand again to remove any sharp edges.”
“Step 3: Staining
After we have all the pieces cut we stain them to protect them and give them a great color finish. On any surfaces that might get wet we apply several layers of protective polyurethane to make the wood spill-proof.”
“Step 4: Final Inspection
We check each piece to make sure you will love it, then we laser engrave the Furniture By Steve logo in a discreet part of the piece.”
“Step 5: Pickup/Delivery
We arrange for you to come get your piece from our workshop in West Nashville, or we can deliver to your door for $175 within an hour of our shop. Inquire for delivery outside of 1hr.”
